Terms and Conditions

SERVICES Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by High Quality Cleaning Co. (“HIQCC”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By booking a service, the client (“you”, “your”) agrees to the terms below.

Our goal is to deliver exceptional results with honesty, transparency, and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. These terms ensure fairness, clarity, and smooth service delivery for everyone.


1. Services Covered

These Terms & Conditions apply to all HIQCC services, including:

  • Regular home cleaning
  • Deep cleaning
  • Bond / end‑of‑lease cleaning
  • Commercial cleaning
  • NDIS cleaning and support services
  • One‑off or specialised cleaning
  • Add‑on services (e.g., oven, fridge, walls, windows, carpets where applicable)


2. Booking Requirements

  • Bookings must include accurate information about the property, service type, and any special requirements.
  • If the property is larger, dirtier, or more complex than described, additional time or charges may apply.
  • HIQCC reserves the right to adjust pricing or service scope if the original booking details were      incomplete or inaccurate.


3. Access to the Property

To complete your service safely and efficiently, you must ensure:

  • Safe and unobstructed access      to the property
  • Pets are secured
  • Electricity and running water are available
  • Parking is available; if paid parking is required, fees may be added
  • Keys, lockboxes, or access instructions are correct and functional

Failure to provide access may result in a call‑out fee or full service charge if cleaners have already attended.


4. Cancellations


4.1 Standard Cancellation Window

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled      service time.
  • Changes made within 48 hours may incur a late‑cancellation fee of up to the full service amount.


4.2 Same‑Day Cancellations or No Access

If cleaners arrive and cannot access the property, or the service is cancelled on the day:

  • A full service fee may apply, as staff have already been dispatched and allocated.


4.3 Resource Commitment

Fees may apply when:

  • Staff have been rostered and prepared
  • Supplies have been purchased
  • Travel has commenced
  • A time slot has been reserved that cannot be rebooked

These fees reflect genuine costs incurred by HIQCC.


5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due as per the arrangement made at the time of booking.
  • HIQCC may require payment before or immediately after service depending on the service type.
  • Additional charges for extra work, extended time, or add‑ons must be paid at completion.


6. Satisfaction Guarantee 

HIQCC offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee for all services.


6.1 Reporting Issues

  • You must notify us within 24 hours of the service.
  • Provide photos and a clear description of the issue.


6.2 Primary Remedy: Rectification

  • HIQCC will return to fix or re‑clean the areas of concern at no additional cost.
  • The rectification appointment must be accepted within a reasonable timeframe.


6.3 When Refunds Apply

Refunds are not automatic and may be offered at HIQCC’s discretion only when:

  • A rectification has been completed and you remain genuinely unsatisfied, or
  • A rectification cannot reasonably be performed

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Issues reported after 24 hours
  • Situations outside our control (e.g., access issues, incorrect information, unrealistic expectations)
  • Areas not included in the original service scope

This approach complies with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading consumer guarantees while recognising the reasonable efforts and costs incurred by HIQCC.


7. Refunds 


7.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered when:

  • HIQCC is unable to complete the service due to our own fault
  • A rectification has been attempted and you remain unsatisfied
  • A rectification cannot reasonably be performed within a fair timeframe


7.2 Non‑Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued when:

  • You cancel within 48 hours of the service
  • Cleaners cannot access the property
  • The property condition differs significantly from the booking description
  • You decline a rectification appointment
  • Issues fall outside the agreed service scope
  • Damage or dissatisfaction is due to pre‑existing conditions or unrealistic expectations


7.3 Refund Method

  • Refunds, when approved, will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.


8. Client Responsibilities 

To ensure a smooth and effective service, clients must:


8.1 Provide Accurate Information

  • Disclose the true condition of the property
  • Inform HIQCC of special requirements, hazards, or fragile items
  • Provide correct access instructions


8.2 Prepare the Property

  • Remove clutter from floors and surfaces unless otherwise arranged
  • Secure pets
  • Ensure electricity and water are available
  • Provide safe working conditions

8.3 Respect Service Boundaries

Clients must not request:

  • Tasks outside the agreed scope
  • Unsafe or hazardous work
  • Services requiring trade qualifications (e.g., electrical, plumbing, mould remediation)

8.4 Report Issues Promptly

  • All concerns must be reported within 24 hours
  • Damage claims must include photos and a clear description

Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect service outcomes, eligibility for rectification, or refund considerations.


9. Service Limitations & Fair Use

HIQCC may decline or modify a service if:

  • The environment is unsafe, hazardous, or unsanitary
  • The requested work falls outside normal cleaning scope
  • Additional time is required due to excessive dirt, clutter, or property condition

Extra charges may apply for:

  • Heavily soiled areas
  • Excessive pet hair
  • Stains requiring specialised treatment
  • Additional tasks not included in the original booking


10. Liability & Damage

HIQCC takes great care, but reasonable limitations apply.


10.1 Pre‑Existing Damage

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre‑existing damage
  • Wear and tear
  • Fragile or deteriorated surfaces
  • Items that break due to age, instability, or improper installation


10.2 Valuables

Clients must secure valuables, cash, jewellery, and sensitive items.
HIQCC is not liable for loss of unsecured valuables.


10.3 High‑Risk or Fragile Items

We are not responsible for damage to:

  • Artwork, antiques, heirlooms
  • Specialty surfaces requiring unique products
  • Items not disclosed as fragile or high‑risk


10.4 Damage Claims

  • Must be reported within 24 hours
  • Must include photos and a clear description
  • Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided


11. Bond / End‑of‑Lease Cleaning

Bond cleaning guarantees apply only to areas included in the booking and only when:

  • The property is vacated
  • Electricity and water are connected
  • All rubbish and belongings are removed
  • Real estate entry reports are provided if requested

Re‑cleans must be requested within the timeframe set by your property manager.


12. NDIS Services

For NDIS clients:

  • Services must align with your plan and funding
  • Cancellations follow the same 48‑hour policy unless NDIS rules require otherwise
  • Additional documentation may be required


13. Variations & Additional Work

Any additional tasks requested on the day may incur extra charges and require approval before commencement.


14. Privacy

HIQCC respects your privacy and handles all personal information in accordance with Australian privacy laws.


15. Changes to Terms

HIQCC may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
